Safety and comfort – for schoolchildren in Kovpyta, Chernihiv region

The Baryshiv grain company has been working in the village of Kovpita in the Chernihiv region for more than 4 years. Is it a lot or a little? It is better to count this period in the good deeds that the community and the enterprise jointly implemented. Without exaggeration, there is not a single social institution in the village that the company does not help. Among others is a local school. Here, from the first day, the Baryshivka grain company takes care of the restoration of classrooms, other support of the material and technical base. Among the closest projects in time is the restoration of the roof in one of the sectors of the school. And even during the period when the fire of war broke out in Ukraine, and even when Kovpyt was under occupation, the company did not stop its support of the community.

•  We received help many times. And in this difficult time, we took the next step in our cooperation. Our institution has a bomb shelter, where children can take shelter in case of bombings and shelling. But it so happened that water and rainwater began to enter this room. It was a significant problem that we could not solve alone. And the Baryshiv grain company helped us. They helped us in the shortest possible time with the purchase of construction materials, the corresponding works were paid for – and now our shelter is dry. We thank our partners and friends for their constant help, even in such a difficult time for all of us.

This spring, the Baryshivka grain company implemented another large-scale project in Chernihiv region. With the direct support of the main shareholders of the company Grain Alliance, humanitarian aid – food and hygiene products – was purchased and distributed among the villagers. In addition, in the villages, the enterprise actively helped people to restore homes that were damaged by shelling and bombing.
