Baryshivska Grain Company together with partners is launching the Security project in the united territorial communities

For the International Children’s Day, the Baryshivska Grain Company Charitable Foundation, together with the Ednannia and Berezan Community Foundation, is initiating a program to provide video surveillance systems to rural schools. In addition, pedestrian crossings in villages and appropriate road signs will be upgraded, and schoolchildren will be provided with reflective elements for better identification on the roads.

• We believe that this project will be an extremely important for rural communities. Video cameras in schools will help not only to protect community property, but also to prevent vandalism. Permanent surveillance systems will be the first step in the fight against bullying – a social phenomenon that is increasingly common in Ukraine. We have previously implemented charitable projects for the development and safety of our children. This is an important area of our work. And the new Safety project is another step towards preserving the health and even the lives of our children.

Previously the project implementation was discussed with the heads of districts and principals of community schools. “The initiated program is extremely important and valuable for community development,” the participants concluded.

• The road is always an area of increased danger, regardless of traffic. There are many children in our village, they constantly ride bicycles, walk along roadsides. And the implementation of the “Security” project in our community is  solving safety problem. Another nuance – video surveillance systems. They will seriously help to maintain discipline in the village. And this is equally important for every resident of Sotnykivka. “

Together with the new initiative, the Baryshivska Grain Compamy Charitable Foundation continues the programs it started in the villages earlier .

• We are very grateful to the company for this year’s assistance in organizing our community. We received 100 thousand hryvnias for repairs of infrastructure facilities and repair of public transport. The Baryshivka grain company is always a good friend of the rural areas where it operates.

The pilot implementation of the Security project starts with some rural schools of Berezan, Yahotyn and Baryshivka OTG. Based on the results of the implementation, the issue of disseminating new experience of public safety in all territories where the Baryshivska Grain Company operates will be resolved.
