About safety – from the first days of the school year

The first day of autumn is always special and exciting for children. After the summer holidays, they return to school, a new year of interesting life with new and old friends. The 1 of September 1 in the school of the village Sadovoe of the Berezan united territorial community is special for other reasons as well. The first is a young replenishment which is special every year.

But the main surprise came at school in the summer. The institution became one of the participants in the Security program, which was implemented by the Baryshivska Grain Company together with partners in a number of educational institutions in the Kyiv region. Under the program, pedestrian crossings, road markings and signs were restored in communities, and video surveillance systems were installed in schools to monitor safety on site.

• The Security Project is extremely important to our community. And updated road markings, updated road signs. And video surveillance systems in schools, and reflective elements for each student. All these components help us to achieve a higher level of safety for our children. We understand this well, we take care of the conditions of students’ education in schools. Therefore, our institution was one of the first to join the implementation of the project “Security”.

• It’s great when such good projects are implemented in rural areas, there are enterprises that are not indifferent to the safety of children in the villages. Therefore, we are very grateful to the Baryshivska Grain Company for the Security project and look forward to further fruitful cooperation in community development.

On the first of September, all students of school in village Sadove received gifts for the next step of the Security project – they were provided with reflective elements that will help to better identify children on the roads, especially in the dark.
The coordinators of the Security project are considering the possibility of continuing the program with expansion to other villages where the Baryshivska grain company operates.
